It is Beggining to Look a Lot Like Christmas

December 4th - Snow in Houston!

Thanksgiving Weekend

It had been a long time since we went camping so we decided to go on Thanksgiving weekend. Raquel was not sure about how Julia would do with the cold, so we decided to get a screened shelter instead of using the tent. It worked great. We got enough plastic to wrap the shelter and it set-up a small heater for Julia. We stayed dry and warm for 2 nights and 2 days.

But even with the shelter we still encountered some wild life at the park. check-out this cute little bear.

I think we scared it.... but it was so cute we had to keep it.

But soon enough it got used to us and had a great time.
Snugly mornings with mom and dad are great.

Julia also enjoyed looking at the fire

but the smoke was a bit too much.

We hope to do it again soon

What a Turkey!

We had a very nice and simple Thanksgiving this year. We stayed at home relaxing until it was time to have dinner with our next door neighbors - Steve and Vicky. Here are a some photos of our little turkey relaxing with us.

Two Beautiful Girls

Today we had a very lovely visit by the Kehn family - Dave, Kathy and Clair - and the two most beautiful girls I have ever seen got to spend some time together.

Thanks for coming by and the cool outfits! We hope to see you again soon!

Julia at 3 Months

Julia is growing like a weed ... a cute weed. Here is a picture of my two cuties together at Galveston with their cool shades.

This month she found her hands (she found it amusing to see her fingers moving), realized she has feet/toes (she looked at me as if to say: Mom! What is that?!), loves to look us in the eye and have "conversations" (cute grunts accompanied by perfectly synchronized lips, tongue and facial expressions), loves to stand-up (with help from mom and dad) and tries to sit-up by herself on Aunt Nikki's bouncy seat.

God is so good!

We praise him for making all things perfect in his time!

Going to the Beach

Julia got all dressed-up to go to Galveston. It was a bit chilly to jump in the water, so she had to cancel the swimming suit photo shoot. But, there was no reason not to sport a cute summer outfit anyway.

Do you want to play with me?

Are you ready to play peak-a-boo? We are going to use this nice blankie

Here we go...

Hey! Don't peak!

Where are you?

Here I am silly!

Do you want to play again?
