Springtime Kids Concert
We have a hard time keeping up with when Julia is singing at the church. Since we forgot about this one we dressed Julia for AWANA instead of singing in front of everyone. Hence the "Buckee's" shirt.
Go carting
We went with our friends the Badenhorsts to a local family farm / entertainment center. Emilia really enjoyed riding the go carts.
Palm Sunday
I got this a little out of order because I just found the Palm Sunday pictures. The kids got to bring palm branches down the aisle in church and then sing for everyone. Julia was very happy about the whole experience.

Easter 2014
We had a big day at Easter this year. Of course we used the opportunity to try to take nice pictures of the girls.
They weren't too pleased at the idea at first.
They slowly started to come around to it though . . .
Of course it helps if Dad can keep his eyes open while shooting the photos.
We had several families over for Easter dinner. Its a tradition in Brazil to receive a large (these are small ones the girls are holding) chocolate egg at Easter. Raquel received the molds from Brazil to make some eggs this year so she made some for all of the children who would be in attendance at dinner. Grace is pictured with the girls here.
Caleb broke into his pretty quickly.
Our eater
Over time Emilia has turned into a good eater, as long as she's hungry. Of course when she is hungry she gets in a hurry and makes a bit of a mess.
The fun of open spaces
Our friends Phillip and Stephanie had us and another couple over for dinner one Saturday in the spring. They have a nice big back yard and Raquel thought ahead to bring some stuff for the girls since we were going early to play. The girls enjoyed putting on their capes and racing back and forth across the yard so we could see the cape fly out behind them as they ran.

Shopping at Costco
The girls love shopping at Costco (mainly because often enough it means lunch and occasionally "ice cream".
Emilia's locked on to something interesting as we go by.
The Rodeo
The girls got to ride ponies, which was a favorite.
They did some traditional rides too.
One of their favorite restaurants is Chick-Fil-A. They were pretty excited to pose with the Chick-Fil-A cow.
Grandma and Grandpa's last day
Grandma and Grandpa Hanson spent a full month with us, helping us get through the last few weeks of Raquel's pregnancy and the birth. THANKS AGAIN!!
The last day they were here they took the girls on a walk to the local neighborhood park. It was cold that day but the girls thoroughly enjoyed it.
Fish head girl?
Grandma and Grandpa took the girls to the zoo while they were here. Emilia got into the spirit of the zoo.
Picking Oranges
We picked the oranges from the tree a little late (into the winter actually) due to the pregnancy and all.
Emilia was pretty excited the whole time.
Emilia showing off the oranges.
Back to Blogging
OK everybody. We're going to try to climb back on the wagon again. A 3rd little girl and a failing computer are our excuses for most of the year but now its time to get going again so here goes.

Olivia Arrived!!!!
Olivia Pereira Hanson was born on December 27th. She was a big girl like her sisters, at 20 and 3/4 inches and 8 lbs 13 ounces.
Here she is at less than an hour old.
Proud papa bringing her back to Mom.
Mom and Dad brought the girls to the hospital the day after she was born and they got to hold her.
Proud Grandpa and Grandma.
The girls enjoyed visiting with their sister. Notice their hats in this picture and the next, owl hats crocheted by Raquel, one for each of them.
We celebrated Olivia's first arrival at the Hanson castle with pictures of the occasion.
