Daddy Time

Neil was able to take off the entire time his parents were here, so Julia got in a lot of good daddy time.

Thanks Aunt Amy!!!

Along with Neil's Christmas gift, Aunt Amy shipped Julia a big box of clothes.  Julia was pretty excited about it.  Thanks Aunt Amy!!!

Learning on the Jenny Jumpup

Our friends Bill and Kathy Wilson gave Julia a Jenny Jump up.  She struggled some on her first attempt with it.

Julia's First Christmas

We started out with some pancakes and whipped cream, thanks to the whipped creamer Raquel got a couple of years ago from Dad for Christmas.

Here's a Julia studying the manger scene.

Some shots of fun between presents and dinner.

We enjoyed a great dinner.

Julia even tried to drink a little.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

It was a great Christmas.  Thanks for coming and sharing it with us Mom and Dad!!!

Julia and Grandma and Grandpa Hanson

Neil's Mom and Dad visited for Christmas to see Julia.  We had a great time together, and Julia really enjoyed getting to meet her Grandma and Grandpa.  Below are some shots of our time together.

We got out to the Museum of Natural Science and lunch at a nice Greek restaurant.  Here are Mom and Dad at lunch.

We also got to have lunch with our good friends the Hasketts.

Girls Night at the Chocolate Bar

It was great to visit with Anne and Svetlana. These girls have not changed a bit - still lots of fun

Here is Julia keeping an eye on the action
.

We Love the Beach

Galveston is on a short distance from our home so we love to go have luch and check out the waves when we have a chance. Julia seems to enjoy it too.

She is completely intrigued by the camera

Julia at 4 Months

Here is Julia at 4 months. Time is going by so fast.... She loves to "talk" and have giggle sessions with mom and dad. In fact, you can hear her say "dahdahdahdah" almost as if she is asking for her daddy. We also have to keep a close eye on her because she can move around at the blink of an eye! She is also such a big girl with her pierced ears - a true Brazilian-American beauty. Still all this charm has not gone to her head - she continues to be the sweetest little baby who sleeps well and smiles all the time.

It is Beggining to Look a Lot Like Christmas

December 4th - Snow in Houston!

Thanksgiving Weekend

It had been a long time since we went camping so we decided to go on Thanksgiving weekend. Raquel was not sure about how Julia would do with the cold, so we decided to get a screened shelter instead of using the tent. It worked great. We got enough plastic to wrap the shelter and it set-up a small heater for Julia. We stayed dry and warm for 2 nights and 2 days.

But even with the shelter we still encountered some wild life at the park. check-out this cute little bear.

I think we scared it.... but it was so cute we had to keep it.

But soon enough it got used to us and had a great time.
Snugly mornings with mom and dad are great.

Julia also enjoyed looking at the fire

but the smoke was a bit too much.

We hope to do it again soon

What a Turkey!

We had a very nice and simple Thanksgiving this year. We stayed at home relaxing until it was time to have dinner with our next door neighbors - Steve and Vicky. Here are a some photos of our little turkey relaxing with us.
